When you mentioned Xun'Er's father before, I thought that he was nothing more than a thief using the tools at his disposal, namely his own daughter to obtain the key. In a way I feel bad for her emotional state at the moment because she is choosing to protect Xiao Yan over her own family's wishes. Understandably it may feel like they abandoned her as a child too so that may weigh in on that.

Oh no no no lol Xiao clan and Gu clan used to be allies and had somewhat of an agreement together (this is also related to the reason why Xiao Clan is in decline) as such Xun'er's father trusts the Xiao family to take care of her, of course the main reason is for her to obtain the Toushe Jade, but is mainly for the clan's interest, but privately he wanted her to have a peaceful and happy life before she reaches a certain age where she needs training for the Gu clan's coming of age ceremony. In her father's words the Gu clan thought they would win by sending her daughter to obtain the jade but as of matter of fact, they lost badly and Xiao clan won by obtaining a good daughter in law lol he never ever once blamed Xun'er for not obtaining the jade nor was he ever against or for their relationship. preferring to let things go with the flow, even though certain clan members were against them being together, he nonetheless wanted her to be happy with who she loves. But as a clan leader he had to balance the interest of the clan and his love for his daughter, which is why wishes Xiao Yan to become strong to prove he is worthy of his daughter and to shut those "old farts" up lol

The reason why Xiao clan is in decline is because the strongest Xiao member in the past decided to risk everything and had all members of Xiao clan sacrifice their bloodlines for him, he believed it would let him reach dou di, (a certain ancient clan was becoming more of a threat) sadly he was ambushed and died, this caused irrevocable damage to the strength of the Xiao clan and reduced it to a "family" status, and so they moved out of the central continent and moved to Jiama empire, but the Xiao clan and Gu clan was always friendly towards each other, although certain members now look down on the Xiao clan. Xun'er's father is not one of them

In regard to the bloodline of the Xiao Clan, did they ever reawaken that? We saw something similar to awakening bloodlines in martial master, but I was wondering with Yao Lao helping, he may have had a way to do so.

Yes, his ancestor passes the bloodline to him though a bloodline pool the ancestor made, unfortunately Xiao Yan also possesses the bloodline of the Void Dragon because Ziyan gave him a portion of her bloodline when he was injured or struggling in refining a pill (but his daughter should also have the Void Dragon bloodline as it was used to refine a pill for Medusa to use), and it was causing the bloodlines to clash, so Xun'er gives her own bloodline to him when they were in the ancestor's tomb, so the pure Xiao and Gu bloodline vs the Void Dragon's bloodline ridding of Xiao Yan's impure bloodline.

The bloodline is very important but rare makes a mention, it is related to the Tattoo mark on their forehead when and when they use it it increases their fighting strength. when Xiao Yan becomes a Dou Di, every Xiao clan member received a boost to their cultivation relative to how close their bloodties is to Xiao Yan, the biggest benefactor is Xiao Yan's daughter, who was born as a Dou Zong (Dou Ancestor) and became a Dou Sheng (Dou Saint, skipping the Dou Zun rank (Dou Venerate) making her the fastest person to level in the entire history lol

If i remember correctly I think he does reawaken the bloodline but it's not with the help of yao lao. His ancestor's ghost or spirit is inside a place in gu clan. When xiao yan visits that place his ancestor give him the last of xiao clans dou di bloodeline, which increases hi strength. But to reawaken the dou di bloodline for the clan, a dou di needs to appear in the clan.

I just want can't wait until Xiao Yan put that sad lil boy to shame, when will he get another power up very soon I hope lol.

lol that Han Xian actually helps Xiao Yan become even more famous and many elders seeks his help in refining pills, not to mention he manages to take all the good locations for setting up stalls and recruit non aligned alchemists to help him refine pill for his guild

I was kind of annoyed with the fire poisoned guy but XY explained dudes actions were because of the poison that was corrupting not only his body but mind as well. Still, what a d!ck aha, but is curing his fire poison a fair trade for the celestial vine?? Though, I guess he comes in handy from the looks of the preview.

Yes the vine is a rare medicinal plant and it is what he needed to refine the
Ground Spirit Pill which allows him to swallow the Fallen Heart Flame, so it is worth it, since saving his life also helps him gain an ally as well

Seems like it would've been smarter and more profitable to just make an exclusive deal to buy those better pills at the cheaper price as opposed to spending double on all the ingredients in the attempt to force the Boulder Sect out of business, whilst simultaneously making waves with a rising power. But I guess it's not exactly uncommon for arrogance, greed, and hunger for power to cause people to choose the more difficult route over simple coexistence, so long as it allows them to continue feeling like they're better than everyone...
